
Following our first BC Canadian Shamanic Conference and our subsequent Shamanic Retreat which were both held at Easter Seals Camp Squamish, British Columbia, Canada, The SCGM with the guidance of the spirits has manifested a 2nd Conference & Gathering once again to be held at Easter Seals Camp, a 33-acre site by the Squamish River and under the Garibaldi Mountains features endless grass fields and forested nature trails.
Though the conference is longer, we have tried to keep fees as low as possible so that everyone can have the chance to experience the magic of the Shamanic Community and Family.
The Conference Registration system is now open to take registrations for the conference. For a deposit of $50cdn you can secure your place and have the facility to deposit funds at intervals to pay towards the conference. Places are limited and early registrations receive an early bird discount.

Reverend Shamans Howard & Elsa Malpas - Elsa is a Director of the Isle of Avalon Foundation and they are both the UK Directors of The Society for Shamanic Practitioners. Tom Cowan who will be presenting “The Great Song” an exploration of ways to align ourselves with the Oran Mor or Life Force or Divine Spirit which exists in all created things. It also manifests in our world as duality, and we will find ways within this tradition to resolve that dualism. Tom has been a shamanic practitioner for over 25 years. He has studied with and taught for the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Yvonne Owens; is presenting “Wolf Magic”, a music, story, and journey process that accesses realms of core creativity for each participant, who will be entering regions of the spirit where the authentic, personal and divine Bardic 'Voice' dwells, and courting transpersonal powers of deep, shape-shifting, manifestation wisdom. Yvonne is a Marie Curie PhD. Fellow and interdisciplinary scholar at the University College of London, currently completing her dissertation on Renaissance portrayals of women as witches in art and theology. She has taught classes in art history, published internationally on First Nations artists and sacred themes in contemporary Indigenous art. Reverend Shaman Angela Prider; in her presentation, “LIQUID FIRE”, there will be an exploration of the ancient Irish framework of the Triple Cauldrons that lie within and support our physical vitality, creative outpourings, and spiritual knowledge. Reverend Shaman Leslie & Andrew Marsh; will be presenting “Time of our Lives”, an exploration of the key moments of our lives from birth to our death and through the use of journeying, dance and other techniques so as to create our own unique way of celebrating our time on this Earth. Leslie is an NLP Master Practitioner and trained in Erickson Hypnosis Techniques, she was Ordained and Initiated in September 2008 into the Wolven Clan as a Reverend Shaman, Leslie continues her search for the stories that heal the soul. She lives in Scotland with her husband Andrew who has trained and worked as a geologist for over 20 years. Richard Hahn: will be presenting “Grace Notes”,a living engagement in exercises designed to reveal our misconceptions of ourselves and to experience real connection of with another. Richard will use the vibration power of Tuvan-style throat singing to create an environment rich with the possibility for miracles. Participants will be guided to go inward while experiencing the healing effects of this ancient sound modality. Richard has a counselling degree (RPC) with a focus on transpersonal, family systems and person-centered therapy. He has also extensively studied energy healing modalities. Dean Cormin; will be presenting “Questing into Birth”. Life is often a journey of mystery, illusions, magic and discovery on which sometimes we feel alone, unguided and not connected to our birth ancestors. The oldest, wisest, star seed ancestors are the grandfather/grandmother rock people. Grant Guindon; is a recent resident to British Columbia and is in his second year, the Warrior Year of training as an Apprentice Shaman of the Wolven Path Lineage Tradition with John-Luke Edwards. Grant moves through this world learning to embody his ancestors with an intense focus on plant spirit medicine and the wisdom of the plant kingdom. Mel Tomlinson & Stephanie Mills: will be presenting “Power Up”, an evening ceremony that will open up a sense of freedom to connect to primal power within ourselves. The primal power of self, offering the participant an authentic and uninhibited response to the primal forces that lie within us. We will engage the primal energy levels of the elements, opening up those channels and freeing ourselves of our own personal inhibitions; we will dance, be noisy and have fun. – In short we will power-UP. Reverend Shaman Mary Jane Richardson; was born and raised in North Vancouver, B.C. In May 2006 her life journey mystically brought her to Lions Bay, B.C. where she met Dr. John-Luke Edwards and was introduced to the “Three Souls” 4 year Shamanic Apprentice program. Mary Jane began an arduous journey into the ways of a Shaman and completed her training in November 2009 at which time she was ordained and initiated into the Wolven Path Tradition in Squamish, B.C. Ishtar Beck; trained in shamanic practice with Jonathan Horwitz, teacher and founder of the Scandinavian Centre for Shamanic Studies (Copenhagen). Throughout these years she blazed the trail of establishing a shamanic practice in my home land of Israel. Jan Engels-Smith will be leading the “Egyptian Forgiveness Ceremony". This ceremony involves time travel and can change history from an energetic standpoint. It is a long-lasting and an effective method for cutting cords of grievances. It allows the expansion of the true self without the confines of karma, regrets, or transgressions. Cindy Murdock; will be presenting the Shamanic Smything, “Whispering Bough of Celtic Tree Wisdom”, a Shamanic tool creation, to connect us with the Celtic Tree Lore of the 13 moons and their correlating Ogham and animal. This sacred bough can be used working with the moon and/or the wind. Richard McConnell who is presenting “Balancing your energy with Qi-gong” is the co-founder of Whole Being Health with Christina Pratt, where he offers acupuncture, Qi-gong, tuina (structural) treatments, and herbal remedies and has been teaching Qi-gong forms and classes since 2002. Kat Naslas is a graduate of the FSS Advanced Initiations and Shamanic Studies, a Journey to the Heart certified Trance-Dance facilitator, and a Sundoor certified Master Firewalk Instructor. In her travels she has worked with various shamans and shamanic ceremonies in Peru, Guatemala, Greece, and the UK, and is an active member of the SSP, SSP-UK, and SCGM. Marius Hansson; will be presenting,“The Flying Drum”, Calling to the Spirit and the Beat of the Drum for a merging with the Spirits, inviting the Spirits to dance the drummers until the Spirit of the Drum will enter a drum and in its flight it brings blessings and healing to all it touches. Kate Lynch; has been playing drums since 2005. She has studied the art of Taiko Drumming from masters such as Stan Shikuma, Kenny Endo, Chieko Kojima and Eiichi Sato of Kodo. She is currently a performing member of Seattle Kokon Taiko and an apprentice of The Wolven Path. She will be leading “Drumming 101”, we will adorn and bring The Drum to life; The Drum is one of our most valuable tools. With any tool when we learn how to properly use it, the tool works better. We find it is easier to use the tool and we get a feeling of satisfaction from using it. Because we feel good when we use it, we use the tool more. And we are encouraged to play more and play often and incorporate drumming into all our practices and into the Shamanic Community |

Julie Parrell: will be presenting “Awakening the Goddess within” ,this is a metaphoric gardening journey, during which in the metaphor and in reality, we will ‘weed’ out the wounds and traumas in the womb of the internal goddess and thus bringing us to be fruitful and blossoming in our lives. Jordan Farmer is a 2nd year Shamanic Apprentice of the Wolven Path Tradition. She is a student of Acupuncture and Qigong, and a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner. Her mother’s beautiful singing made her heart ache in her childhood. Anvil Song; newly initiated during this Gathering and a sign of their service to healing the community by the spirits will be offering 2 “Wrap About Healing Ceremonies”, this ancient ceremony of the Mountain Traditions of cleansing, purification and healing contains the elements of caring, intimacy and mother energy.
