Tom Cowan who will be presenting “The Great Song” an exploration of ways to align ourselves with the Oran Mor or Life Force or Divine Spirit which exists in all created things.  It also manifests in our world as duality, and we will find ways within this tradition to resolve that dualism. Tom has been a shamanic practitioner for over 25 years. He has studied with and taught for the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. He is the author of several books on shamanism and Celtic spirituality: Fire in the Head: Shamanism and the Celtic Spirit; Shamanism as a Spiritual Practice for Daily Life; Yearning for the Wind: Celtic Reflections on Nature and the Soul. He is also a minister in the Circle of the Sacred Earth and on the Board of Directors of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners and an associate board member of Columcille Megalithic Park in Pennsylvania. He offers shamanic training workshops and spiritual retreats in North America, Central and Eastern Europe, Ireland, Scotland, and England.

Peter Clark & Sarah Finlay; both graduates of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Sarah is a shamanic counselor, educator, artist and writer, has had an ongoing relationship with the spirits since her early years. She has devoted much of her life to looking for answers pertaining to reality, communication, healing, and our spiritual connection to the universe and Peter, a lifelong scientist and educator, has always held a fascination with the cosmos and the nature of reality. They will be presenting “Gateways to the Dragon”, an experiential learning to work with the wisdom of the Dragon archetype, allowing us all to more easily rebirth ourselves into the next levels of consciousness and potential multi-dimensional awareness

Yvonne Owens; is presenting “Wolf Magic”, a music, story, and journey process that accesses realms of core creativity for each participant, who will be entering regions of the spirit where the authentic, personal and divine Bardic 'Voice' dwells, and courting transpersonal powers of deep, shape-shifting, manifestation wisdom. Yvonne is a Marie Curie PhD. Fellow and interdisciplinary scholar at the University College of London, currently completing her dissertation on Renaissance portrayals of women as witches in art and theology. She has taught classes in art history, published internationally on First Nations artists and sacred themes in contemporary Indigenous art. Yvonne is the author of ‘Journey of the Bard,’ ‘Jim Logan, Trickster, and the Native American Canon,’ ‘The Cup of Mari Anu,’ and other works on sacred narrative, lore and magic. She is a member/practitioner of SCGM, a regular presenter at the Society for the Study of Shamanism Conference, and a founder of the Thirteenth House Mystery School. Last year, Yvonne presented ‘The Journey of the Bard’ in session at the SCGM Conference.

Tira Evans; through journey and saga “Birthing Our Ancestral Stories”, will be a living experience of becoming more aware of our connections to our ancestors and descendents; discovering how the ancient myths may energize us and guide us as we birth
the future. Tira has walked the shaman's path from the age of five when she was 'taken' by Shining Folk during a serious illness. For sixty years she has been committed to making and mending, helping and healing. In 1997 she founded the Society of Celtic Shamans, which is dedicated to helping Celtic descendants connect with the traditions and spirit of their ancestors. She is the editor of Earthsongs: Journal of the Society of Celtic Shamans and author of a number of books on the Celtic tradition. Tira is a member of the SSP & SCGM and will be Initiated as a Wolven Path Shaman during the Conference

Alison Skelton; will be leading “A Tree of Life Journey”, a powerful creative journey through the seven energetic realms that reside within us and all around us as the Chakra System and using Shamanic journey, timed writing, and ceremony to access the knowledge and power that resides in the realms of Non Ordinary Reality and within our deep subconscious for an exploration of the possibility of conscious intentional transformation, not only of the self, but for the world we are co-creating.  Alison is a multi-disciplinary artist, illustrator, ritual designer, and teacher of sacred arts. She is a member of the Circle of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and the SCGM. Her Shamanic practice combines extensive experience as a Wiccan priestess with core shamanic methods. She presented Healing the Heart of the Planet at the First Annual Canadian Shamanic Conference in Squamish, B.C. in 2009

Stephanie Helberg; is presenting an experiential workshop, “Birthing you Dream”, that will help to clarify or define our dreams without labels. When we have clarity about our dreams, we learn how to bring that dream into our business, family and community, and we discover skills and talents and take a journey into the future and see how that dream can become a reality. Stephanie Helberg is a certified hypnotherapist, shamanic practitioner, crystal healer and reiki master who has studied shamanic practices and herbal medicine in the Amazon. She is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, a member of the International Association for Regression Research and Therapies, a founding member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners and a member of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and the SCGM.

Madeleine Marchell; will be presenting, “Shamanic Yoga”, so as to access ehe elemental energies in the body as channels and Prana energies of the energetic body; The soul is not healed until the energy is brought into the subtlest level of experience as this happens we can open to the unbounded energy and wisdom that is fully present in our physical body. Madeline is a Shamanic practitioner and graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Three Year Program in Advanced Shamanism. She is also a Yoga Therapist/RYT 500, Jin Shin Jyutsu and Healing Touch Energy Therapist. She currently uses these modalities at a NJ hospital setting helping clients reconnect mind, body and spirit.

Christine Wallace; is presenting,“Your Unique gifts in Service”,  a fire ceremony with drumming, rattling, singing and dancing, and a journey into the womb of the Universe (aka, the void of all possibilities) to present and energize their unique gifts of service; with the intention of being completely released and transformed into energetic gifts of service.
Christine is a full-time shamanic practitioner and certified Firewalk instructor who has studied with both indigenous and core shamanic teachers since 1998.  Her services extend to adults, children, animals, land and structures with a specific focus on the heart.  With a spirit of integrity and humor, she is committed to being in service for all beings in the great web of life

Colby Wilk: will be presenting, “Love yourself right into love”.  In this interactive workshop explore and practice techniques to bring yourself into greater love with you.  Witness your outlook, mood and circumstances improve by accessing the universal energy and fabric of the universe: love. Originally a counselor/coach, Colby recognized that there was a power beyond traditional therapeutic methods that could shift what seemed unchangeable — the very core of a person. Through spiritual healing, Colby teaches participants to create a powerful, magical relationship to themselves and to life. Colby trains others to be there own teacher, to access spiritual states and to overcome blocks.  In addition to classes and in person and remote sessions, Colby offers free weekly healings through his website.

Reverend Shaman Angela Prider; in her presentation, “LIQUID FIRE”, there will be an exploration of the ancient Irish framework of the Triple Cauldrons that lie within and support our physical vitality, creative outpourings, and spiritual knowledge. With the aid of our Helping Spirits, we will learn to read, protect, divine, and align the cauldrons. We will experience the liquid alchemical fire of Imbas, and birth our primal creative talents as an answer to the global call for the restoration of harmony in this world. Angela is a Shamanic Practitioner and Teacher who has studied with a number of gifted teachers over the last 18 years. She has been entrusted by her ancestors with the reanimation of the White Bone tradition, and teaches this as a women’s shamanic apprenticeship. She has a private practise where she synthesizes shamanic healing and SRT for those recovering from trauma. She is Reverend Shaman of the Wolven Path Tradition, member of the SCGM & SSP, and proud mum of a blossoming daughter.

Jeff Stockton is a Shamanic practitioner in the Celtic tradition. His studies and training in the shamanic realm began in 1996 on the strings of the Celtic harp, and inform and nourish his work in the wider world.  In addition to his work in the Shamanic realm, Jeff weaves song and story on the strings of the harp in performance and recorded works.
He will be presenting “Songlines” an experiential workshop for walking the songlines - traveling the otherworld for songs of healing, songs of power and songs of wonder.  From a simple beginning with a short tale of music from the otherworld, we begin exploring the premise that song, chant and rhythm are powerful and sacred tools and experiences for shamanic work.

Reverend Shaman Leslie & Andrew Marsh; will be presenting “Time of our Lives”, an exploration of  the key moments of our lives from birth to our death and through the use of journeying, dance and other techniques so as to create our own unique way of celebrating our time on this Earth. Leslie is an NLP Master Practitioner and trained in Erickson Hypnosis Techniques, she was Ordained and Initiated in September 2008 into the Wolven Clan as a Reverend Shaman, Leslie continues her search for the stories that heal the soul. She lives in Scotland with her husband Andrew who has trained and worked as a geologist for over 20 years. Having a hands on approach to his work has allowed him to recognise a connection to the land and this he has pursued culminating in his training as a Shamanic Practitioner and Reiki healer. Both are members of the SSP & SCGM

Richard Hahn: will be presenting “Grace Notes”,a living engagement in exercises designed to reveal our misconceptions of ourselves and to experience real connection of with another. Richard will use the vibration power of Tuvan-style throat singing to create an environment rich with the possibility for miracles. Participants will be guided to go inward while experiencing the healing effects of this ancient sound modality. Richard has a counselling degree (RPC) with a focus on transpersonal, family systems and person-centered therapy. He has also extensively studied energy healing modalities. Ten years ago he discovered his talent for throat singing and gift for sound healing in a workshop with singer and sacred chant leader Jerry DesVoignes. Toda y he teaches workshops that combine his therapeutic knowledge with his sound healing abilities to help people transform their lives.

Dean Cormin; will be presenting “Questing into Birth”. Life is often a journey of mystery, illusions, magic and discovery on which sometimes we feel alone, unguided and not connected to our birth ancestors. The oldest, wisest, star seed ancestors are the grandfather/grandmother rock people. This is a ritual journey into the consciousness of an ancestral star seed; a quest into our first ancestral star seed domain and listen to that wisdom. Dean is a Massage Therapist and Kumu Lomilomi and teaching Crystal Therapy of over 10 years at Hale Ola - A Place of Healing. He  has been on the Wolven Path in the Apprentice Group  Anvil Song with Dr. John-Luke Edwards as an apprentice for three years and is a member of the SCGM and SSP and is also undertaking the  13 Moons Wisdom Journey online course. He is an Initiand of the Wolven Path Lineage tradition of 2011

Grant Guindon; is a recent resident to British Columbia and is in his second year, the Warrior Year of training as an Apprentice Shaman of the Wolven Path Lineage Tradition with John-Luke Edwards.  Grant moves through this world learning to embody his ancestors with an intense focus on plant spirit medicine and the wisdom of the plant kingdom.  Since early childhood he has had an affinity with the trees, knowing full well the importance they would and will have in the days to come. In their honouring he will be presenting “Standing in the Trees”, a journey of dance and sacrifice and the creation of Ogham Staves and a forging of a greater relationship and intention with these beings so we can come to a balanced understanding of how to live in the world.

Ginny Layden; will be presenting “The Time Before”, an experience of journey, song, dance and ceremony to connect with The heartbeat; the heartbeat of our mothers and maternal lineage, the Mother Earth and ultimately the Universal Mother. Ginny has studied Integrative Energy Healing at Langara College, taken the initiation rights in a one year training of the Incan Medicine Wheel handed down to my teachers from Alberto Villoldo,  studied and practices Lomilomi and Stone Massage therapy and Integrative Energy Healing in her home based private practice. She is member of the SSP and a Director of the SCGM and an Initiand of the Wolven Path Lineage tradition of 2011.

Mel Tomlinson & Stephanie Mills: will be presenting “Power Up”, an evening ceremony that will open up a sense of freedom to connect to primal power within ourselves. The primal power of self, offering the participant an authentic and uninhibited response to the primal forces that lie within us. We will engage the primal energy levels of the elements, opening up those channels and freeing ourselves of our own personal inhibitions; we will dance, be noisy and have fun. – In short we will power-UP. Mel lives in West Vancouver, BC, Canada. She is a healer, an artist, a crafter and mother and leads the Creative Team of the SCGM. She has been a law enforcement officer for 17 years. Stephanie has lived most of her life in the Pacific Northwest.  Her home town of Bellingham, Washington is right next to the Canadian border, which she crosses all the time to get to her Wolven Path Clan! She considers herself a healer through many different expressions. Both are Directors of the SCGM and members of the SSP and both are Initiands of the Wolven Path Lineage tradition of 2011

Reverend Shaman Mary Jane Richardson; was born and raised in North Vancouver, B.C.  In May 2006 her life journey mystically brought her to Lions Bay, B.C. where she met Dr. John-Luke Edwards and was introduced to the “Three Souls” 4 year Shamanic Apprentice program.  Mary Jane began an arduous journey into the ways of a Shaman and completed her training in November 2009 at which time she was ordained and initiated into the Wolven Path Tradition in Squamish, B.C.  She received her Shamanic name “Brigantia of the Morning Dawn”. She is committed to the daily practice of Yoga, has studied acupressure and is now working part-time as a landscaper. Working with Mother Earth is both rewarding and healing and she waits for whatever it is that Spirit opens up to her. She is a Director of the SCGM. She will be presenting “BASIC Journeying to discover your inner power”, a journey to re-connect to Divine Nature to restore Spiritual Power and health, and bring personal empowerment, clarity and inner peace.

Ishtar Beck; trained in shamanic practice with Jonathan Horwitz, teacher and founder of the Scandinavian Centre for Shamanic Studies (Copenhagen).  Throughout these years she blazed the trail of establishing a shamanic practice in my home land of Israel. She has extensive training in, Soul Retrieval, works with Death and Life, Shamanic Healing, ecstatic Song and Dance practice, and enlivening connection with Nature, and has been facilitating shamanic practitioner training since 2004. She is currently back in Canada, taking a Masters in Counselling Psychology. Ishtar will be leading 2 healing circles entitled “Intent & Surrender”, a process of formulating clear intent for personal and/or collective healing; and asking for help and giving thank to and from Spirit

Jan Engels-Smith will be leading the “Egyptian Forgiveness Ceremony".  This ceremony involves time travel and can change history from an energetic standpoint. It is a long-lasting and an effective method for cutting cords of grievances.  It allows the expansion of the true self without the confines of karma, regrets, or transgressions. Forgiveness is the ultimate Egyptian ceremony of release. Jan is a graduate of the Foundation of Shamanic Studies and has trained with several individual shamans from traditional lineages. She is the author of Becoming Yourself: The Journey from Head to Heart and the composer of Take Your Body with You and Awaken, Unburden, Create. She is a Shamanic Practitioner, Reiki Master, a Licensed Professional Counsellor, a Chemical Dependency Specialist, a Marriage and Family Counsellor, a Hypnotherapist and a Reconnection healer. Jan founded the ‘LightSong School of Shamanic Studies and LightSong Healing Center

Cindy Murdock; will be presenting the Shamanic Smything, “Whispering Bough of Celtic Tree Wisdom”, a  Shamanic tool creation, to connect us with the Celtic Tree Lore of the 13 moons and their correlating Ogham and animal. This sacred bough can be used working with the moon and/or the wind. It can call to the tree spirits and the spirits of the air to awaken wisdom and promote a stronger connection with the tree & land spirits. (There is an additional $15 to attend this Craftshop). Cindy has a background of artistic work and education married with a love for artistic creativity and design, four years of education in the field of art, which include Display Merchandising (advertising) and more recently educated in Graphic Design from Vancouver Island University. Richard McConnell who is presenting “Balancing your energy with Qi-gong” is the co-founder of Whole Being Health with Christina Pratt, where he offers acupuncture, Qi-gong, tuina (structural) treatments, and herbal remedies and has been teaching Qi-gong forms and classes since 2002. Qi-gong forms allow us to reach out in to the universal Qi and draw it into our personal Qi.  This Essence Qi-gong form connects us into our central channel of Essence Energy that is eternally present before birth, through life, and after death.  Opening our central channel through this form allows us to cultivate and use our Essence Energy now to birth our selves and blossom our gifts into life

Kat Naslas is a graduate of the FSS Advanced Initiations and Shamanic Studies, a Journey to the Heart certified Trance-Dance facilitator, and a Sundoor certified Master Firewalk Instructor. In her travels she has worked with various shamans and shamanic ceremonies in Peru, Guatemala, Greece, and the UK, and is an active member of the SSP, SSP-UK, and SCGM. She facilitates workshops, works with clients, and volunteers her time as Fire-Guardian for ceremonies, teepee meetings, sweat lodges, and vision quests.  Kat is one of the 13 Fire Guardians of the Wolven Path. Kat will be facilitating“Birthing the seeds”, a movement journey of feeding that seed of an idea that we have and want to give birth to with what it needs to blossom, and in that to see ourselves clearly making the dreams come true.

Kevin Biggs is the Lead Healer with Charminster Spiritualist Church, England and a Reiki Master. He runs courses in Spirit Healing and Reiki. In both these he supports students to discover their own potential for Sprit relations hip and healing. Kevin will be facilitating two “Spirit Healing Circles”

Shoshana Avree.BA., L.M.T.  has been a shamanic practitioner for over 23 years as well as a massage therapist for over 24 years, helping people connect with the spirits to alleviate dis-ease, spiritually, emotionally and physically. Shoshana practices Soul Retrieval, Extraction, Divination, Depossession and Spiritual Counseling for individuals and businesses. She is passionate about working with the spirits and helping others “remember” who they really are, in alignment with their Soul’s Purpose. She will be presenting, “The Tree of Life”, an experiential journey through personal; Creation mythology to birth a deeper understanding of themselves through the wisdom of the Tree of Life. Learning from the tree, traveling to parallel realities, merging with The Tree for healing and more.

Merina Mohr & Terry Manz; Smything brings the consciousness together, and as we hear our rattle, we hear each others rattle, knowing we are not one but together with spirit, and the sweet sounds; Rattles are a tool used in Shamanism, but is there a rattle that mirrors the European shamanic tradition? Together the will lead us through the creation of “The West Coast Rattle” (There is an additional $15 to attend this Craftshop).. Terry is a Jeweler, Bead Artist, and Apprentice Shaman of Wolven Path Lineage Tradition.  For the past ten years Terry’s jewelry line – Body Talk -  has incorporated vintage pieces: using reclaimed materials she has minimized the negative impacts to the earth. Her skills as a master crafter are complimented by her history of working in nursing, and volunteering in the community. Merina is a Mixed Media Artist, Photographer, and Apprentice Shaman of Wolven Path Lineage Tradition. As an artist she has exhibited works both Canada, US and internationally. Merina has facilitated workshops for both children and adults, from diverse backgrounds, including addictions recovery, disabilities and new Canadians.

Marius Hansson; will be presenting,“The Flying Drum”,  Calling to the Spirit and the Beat of the Drum for a merging with the Spirits, inviting the Spirits to dance the drummers until the Spirit of the Drum will enter a drum and in its flight it brings blessings and healing to all it touches. Marius has developed his shamanic craft with intensive work as both a student and an assistant with the Sacred Trust UK. Now living in beautiful BC, he is also an Initiated Shaman of the Wolven Path Tradition and continues to offer shamanic services to the community.

Kate Lynch; has been playing drums since 2005.  She has studied the art of Taiko Drumming from masters such as Stan Shikuma, Kenny Endo, Chieko Kojima and Eiichi Sato of Kodo.  She is currently a performing member of Seattle Kokon Taiko and an apprentice of The Wolven Path. She will be leading “Drumming 101”, we will adorn and bring The Drum to life; The Drum is one of our most valuable tools. With any tool when we learn how to properly use it, the tool works better.  We find it is easier to use the tool and we get a feeling of satisfaction from using it.  Because we feel good when we use it, we use the tool more. And we are encouraged to play more and play often and incorporate drumming into all our practices and into the Shamanic Community

Tasara: will be presenting “FLOW - Sovereignty”, When we are born, the inner sacred temple of ourselves is fully lit. The flow of bright energy that runs through it is for play, for creation, for communion, devotion and love. Travel to this place within yourself. Know and protect it. Explore this temple of you and dance a sacred dance of life; your life.  (Musicians welcome). Tasara has been deeply devoted to her magical and shamanic path for most of her life. She expresses it through building community, teaching workshops, creating transformative visuals for live events and taking clients. She is a natural teacher and is always turning metaphysical things upside down to understand them in different ways.

Julie Parrell: will be presenting “Awakening the Goddess within” ,this is a metaphoric gardening journey, during which in the metaphor and in reality, we will ‘weed’ out the wounds and traumas in the womb of the internal goddess and thus bringing us to be fruitful and blossoming in our lives. She uses her performance art skills to weave together the worlds of Spirit while pushing through the boundaries of the mundane. She is a member of the SCGM and an Initiand of the Wolven Path Lineage tradition of 2011

Anvil Song; newly initiated during this Gathering and a sign of their service to healing the community by the spirits will be offering 2 “Wrap About Healing Ceremonies”, this ancient ceremony of the Mountain Traditions of cleansing, purification and healing contains the elements of caring, intimacy and mother energy. Its spirit is one of bringing the Lamenter to a deeper appreciation and commitment of and to themselves. In this context all ‘negative’ energies are dispersed. Its power is in its simplicity and soothing silence, its stillness of being and its absolute focus on the Lamenter.
